Liu Li Palace is proud to introduce its new Master of Chinese Culinary Arts, Chef Wong Chee Hung. With over 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Wong specializes in Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, honed through extensive training in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as leadership roles in Jakarta’s top fine-dining Chinese restaurants.

Renowned for his innovative approach, Chef Wong excels in seasonal ingredient selection, menu development, and leading dynamic kitchen teams. His career includes pivotal roles at esteemed establishments, including the renowned Cilantro Cuisine Restaurant, once one of Jakarta’s most celebrated fine-dining destinations. Passionate about blending tradition with creativity, he is dedicated to crafting dishes that exceed guest expectations.

The name “Liu Li” (琉璃 or 瑠璃) holds deep historical significance, as it refers to an ancient Chinese form of glass artistry with over 2,500 years of heritage. Inspired by this timeless art, Liu Li Palace reflects the same meticulous attention to quality and creativity in each dish, embodying the essence of Chinese artistry in each dish. Featuring an exquisite array of classic Chinese delicacies, diners can indulge in live seafood, dim sum, signature barbecue dishes, and premium offerings like abalone and shark fin. Every dish at Liu Li Palace is made with the finest ingredients, combines with traditional techniques and contemporary flair.

Every Sunday and Public Holiday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, guests can enjoy Yum Cha featuring an exclusive menu that includes signature dim sum and desserts like Pan-fried Lotus Root with Minced Pork, Pan-fried Sesame Red Beans Pancakes, Wonton with Assorted Mushrooms & Blue Flower Truffle Oil, Crab Mushroom Dumpling Soup, Baked BBQ Pork Puff, Mini Egg Tart, Barbecued Pork Bun, and the unique Pan-fried Durian Spring Roll. During the weekdays, Liu Li offers Business Lunch Package from Monday to Friday from 11.30 – 15.00 offering six set lunches starting from IDR 160,000++.

From 15 February 2025 to 31 March 2025, Liu Li Palace presents Fiery Flavors of Szechuan, showcasing the bold and spicy essence of authentic Szechuan cuisine. Seven new dishes are introduced, including Stir-fried Sliced Pork with Lotus Root, Stir-fried Chicken with Dried Chili, Teppan AUS Beef Short Ribs with Carrots and Turnips, Cold Tofu and Century Egg with Spicy Sauce, Boiled Sliced Beef with Mala Sauce, Stir-fried Cabbage with Dried Chilies, and Steamed Grouper Fish Szechuan Style. Each dish is meticulously crafted, reflecting Chef Wong’s expertise and deep respect for traditional Szechuan flavors.
